Montoya Spanish Dance Academy & Theatre
Montoya Spanish Dance Academy is a South African based dance studio and company aimed at promoting the art of Spanish dance to young and old alike. The Montoya Dance group have been featured at numerous events and shows, and regularly perform at corporate events / private functions / theatre performances. Classes are offered in the Spanish Dance Society exam syllabus (Ingreso to Advanced, IdB and PdB), as well as open work (delving into the art and technique of flamenco).
We are so proud to announce that we managed to raise just over R25 000-00 in aid of CANSA – Cancer Association of South Africa through our show Éspaña’that took place at the Atterbury Theatre in February 2019. A huge amount of thanks to the Atterbury Trust for giving us the theatre free of charge for our performance, and to all our dancers and technical staff for giving their time up in aid of this amazing cause!
